This is a perfect example of why Anti Choice is not Pro Life and does not deserve to be referred to as so. 

This law disallows any abortions from being performed at 20 weeks from the woman’s last period, with the exception of life threatening emergency. The possibility of life loss is not the only complications/health issue you can experience during pregnancy, but it is the only one that an exception is made for. 

Your pregnancy/childbirth can leave you disabled? You have to carry to term. Your pregnancy/childbirth can inhibit your mental health? You have to carry to term. Your pregnancy/childbirth can leave you infertile? You have to carry to term. Your pregnancy/childbirth might kill you? You have to wait until you’re experiencing a life threatening emergency (read as: dying) to terminate the pregnancy. You were raped and didn’t have access to an abortion clinic until the 20th week? You still have to carry to term. You find out the fetus isn’t developing right and will be severely disabled throughout it’s entire, incredibly short, life? You have to carry to term.  You find out the fetus isn’t going to survive childbirth? You still have to carry to term. 

How the ever loving fuck is that Pro Life, you shitheads? Oh wait, I’m sorry - I forgot that the life of the pregnant individual and their loved ones doesn’t matter, or at least it doesn’t matter as much as the fetuses. You all make me sick.
